Sour Cream Apple Pie

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Tart Apples (finely chopped, peeled)
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 tablespoon vanilla
  • 1 Egg (Beaten)
  • 1 cup Sour Cream
  • 1/3 cup Sugar
  • 1/3 cup Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup Butter (Softened)

Directions

Step 1
Combine sugar, flour and salt.
Step 2
Gently fold in apples untill coated.
Step 3
Mix in vanilla, beaten egg, an sour cream.
Step 4
Pour into an unbaked 9" pie shell and bake for 15 minuets at 425 degrees. Lower oven to 325 degrees and continue baking for 30 minuets.
Step 5
Remove from oven and top with crumb mixture consisting of 1/3 c. sugar, 1/3 c. flour, 1/4 tsp. cinnamon, and 1/4 c. softened butter. Return to 350 degree oven and bake for about 20 minuets or untill topping is golden brown.
