Read, Learn, Grow Summer Programming
Wednesdays, June 11 – August 6, 2025
9-10 a.m. & 10:30-11:30 a.m.
Get the kids out of the house this summer for a fun time on the farm! Kids who participate in our Read, Learn, Grow hour long program will:
- Enjoy story time with a book about farming, fruits, veggies, insects, and more.
- Learn about various aspects of farming with hands-on activities.
- Take home something special each week – from hand-picked fruit to a hand-made craft!
Other things you should know:
- This program is recommended for children, ages 3-8.
- We request that all parents remain on site and with your child during the activity.
- We offer three sessions each week – Wednesdays at 9am or 10:30am.
- Registration is highly recommended. Walk-ins will be allowed as space permits, but space is not guaranteed. You can register on-line or by phone at 717-677-8412.
- Please arrive a few minutes early to check in.
- The event goes on rain or shine, unless dangerous weather is predicted.
- We will visit various places on the farm so please dress appropriately.
Story & Snack with the Apple Queen
Thursday, July 17, 2025, 10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Join us any time between 10:00-11:30am to enjoy a story and snack time (as supplies last) with our 2024 Pennsylvania Apple Queen! You will have time to ask questions, take photos, and get to know our Apple Queen! This is open for children of any age, and is a FREE event! No registration required.
Family Game Night
Friday, August 1, 2025, 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Bring your families for a game night at Hollabaugh’s! Get together to enjoy a last summer evening before school starts. Bring your favorite family board game, or enjoy our outside games that we have to offer. We will have plenty of games, and an a la carte ice cream sundae bar, snack bar, and more!
Community Day
Saturday, September 6, 2025, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Join us for our first ever Community Day to celebrate 70 wonderful years with you – our community. This day will feature many new things, including FREE wagon rides from 10:30am-1:30pm, a dunk tank with local celebrities, a pie eating contest, music, and more! Froggy 107.7 will be broadcasting live from 10am-12pm.
We are also bringing back our well-loved Butterfly Release at 1pm *you must register to release a butterfly*. We hope to see you here for an exciting day of celebration! *You can register to reserve a butterfly here!
