Get the kids out of the house this summer for a fun time on the farm! Kids who participate in our Read, Learn, Grow hour long program will:

• Enjoy story time with a book about farming, fruits, veggies, insects, and more.
• Learn about various aspects of farming with hands-on activities.
• Take home something special each week – from hand-picked fruit to a hand-made craft!

Other things you should know:

• This program is recommended for children, ages 3-8.
• We request that all parents remain on site and with your child during the activity.
• We offer three sessions each week – Wednesdays at 9am or 10:30am.
• Registration is highly recommended. Walk-ins will be allowed as space permits, but space is not guaranteed. You can register on-line or by phone at 717-677-8412.
• Please arrive a few minutes early to check in. 
• The event goes on rain or shine, unless dangerous weather is predicted.
• We will visit various places on the farm so please dress appropriately.

Cost is $10/child per session.

Join us any time between 10:00-11:30am to enjoy a story and snack time (as supplies last) with our 2024 Pennsylvania Apple Queen! You will have time to ask questions, take photos, and get to know our Apple Queen! This is open for children of any age, and is a FREE event! No registration required. 

Saturday, July 19, 10am-1pm

Make your own stained glass artwork with stained glass artist, Chris Parker. All supplies will be provided. For this class, you can choose between a variety of projects when you get here, including a honeycomb, Cardinal, watermelon slice, strawberry, and more! You will learn the copper foil technique and your project will be ready to take home with you at conclusion of the class.

Cost is $55 per person and pre-registration is required. Participants must be at least 12 years old. You will pick your design the day of the event and all supplies are included in your registration. Space is limited, register today!

SATURDAY, JULY 26, 10 a.m. – 12 p,.m.

Always wanted to decorate sugar cookies? In this fun 2-hour long class, we will cover the basic tools used to decorate sugar cookies. We will talk about tips for cookie making and icing consistency. Then, we will be doing 5 large themed cookies that will taste amazing and will look even better once you’ve completed your decorating!

We’ll provide everything you will need: cookies, icing and a box to take your cookies home! This class is open to all ages!

Cost is $47 and pre-registration is required. Space is limited – don’t delay, register today!

Bring your families for a game night at Hollabaugh’s! Get together to enjoy a last summer evening before school starts. Bring your favorite family board game, or enjoy our outside games that we have to offer. We will have plenty of games, and an a la carte ice cream sundae bar, snack bar, and more!

Sunday, August 3, 2025, 1-3pm

Join Under The Horizon Pottery at Hollabaugh Bros. for a hands-on clay workshop where you’ll create your very own custom charcuterie board. In this class, you’ll work with fresh clay to shape and design a functional and decorative charcuterie board. Explore a variety of texturing tools—such as stamps, doilies, florals, or even your own unique patterns—to make your piece truly one-of-a-kind. After the workshop, your creation will be professionally glazed by the artists at Under The Horizon and returned to Hollabaugh Bros. for pickup within four weeks. Under The Horizon is a full-service pottery studio offering handmade pottery, creative workshops, and more.

This all-inclusive class provides a complete, start-to-finish experience, and your finished board will be food-safe, dishwasher-safe, and microwave-safe. All materials are included—just bring your creativity! Cost is $65/person and pre-registration is required. Ages 16+
