Crockpot Pumpkin Bread Pudding

Ingredients
- 8 medium slices bread
- 2 cups whole milk
- 4 eggs
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup pumpkin pie filling (or 1 c. fresh pumpkin)
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 cup water
- 3/4 cups sugar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla

Directions
Step 1

Place bread in greased crockpot. |
Step 2

Beat eggs and milk. Stir in 1/4 c. sugar, melted butter, raisins, pumpkin, and spices. |
Step 3

Pour over bread and stir; cover. |
Step 4

Cook on high 1 hour. |
Step 5
|
Reduce heat to low and cook for another 3-4 hours. |
Step 6
|
Make sauce by combining 2 T. butter, flour, water, 3/4 c. sugar, and vanilla just before bread pudding is done. |
Step 7
|
Pour over hot bread pudding and continue to cook about 15-30 min. Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream. |
