This recipe for Overnight French Toast is one of the Hollabaugh family's most favorite! Our signature apple cinnamon bread (or peach or blueberry bread in the summer) takes this recipe to the next level!
Ingredients
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 tablespoons light corn syrup
- 1 1/2 Loaves Hollabaugh's Apple Cinnamon Bread (sliced)
- 5 eggs
- 1 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Directions
Step 1

In small saucepan, combine corn syrup, butter and brown sugar. Simmer until butter has melted and sugar is dissolved. Pour into bottom of 9x13 inch pan. |
Step 2

Place bread slices on top of syrup mixture. |
Step 3

In bowl, beat eggs, milk, vanilla and salt. Pour over bread. |
Step 4

Cover and put in refrigerator overnight. Next morning, preheat oven to 350°. Uncover and bake for 45 minutes. Serve warm. |
