Ingredients
- 1lb Loose Sausage (Apple sausage is great in this recipe!)
- 4 Medium Apples (Golden Delicious, Jonagold, or Nittany are good options, but any good baking and cooking apple will do!)
- 4 Medium Potatoes (peeled and thinly sliced)
- 2 teaspoons flour
- 4 teaspoons sugar
Directions
Step 1

Fry the sausage and set aside. |
Step 2

Combine the flour and sugar and set aside. |
Step 3

Slice the apples and potatoes thinly. |
Step 4
|
Arrange layers of sausage, apples, and potatoes in a 9x13 greased baking dish, sprinkling each layer with sugar and flour as you go. |
Step 5

Cover tightly with foil. |
Step 6
|
Poke a small hole in the center of the foil to let steam escape. |
Step 7
|
Bake at 375 for 1 hour. |
