Sour Cream Apple Pie

Ingredients
- 2 cups Tart Apples (finely chopped, peeled)
- 1 cup Sugar
- 2 tablespoons Flour
- 1/4 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 tablespoon vanilla
- 1 Egg (Beaten)
- 1 cup Sour Cream
- 1/3 cup Sugar
- 1/3 cup Flour
- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1/4 cup Butter (Softened)
Directions
Step 1 | |
Combine sugar, flour and salt. | |

Gently fold in apples untill coated. | |

Mix in vanilla, beaten egg, an sour cream. | |

Pour into an unbaked 9" pie shell and bake for 15 minuets at 425 degrees. Lower oven to 325 degrees and continue baking for 30 minuets. | |
Step 5 | |
Remove from oven and top with crumb mixture consisting of 1/3 c. sugar, 1/3 c. flour, 1/4 tsp. cinnamon, and 1/4 c. softened butter. Return to 350 degree oven and bake for about 20 minuets or untill topping is golden brown. |
